Mike’s book “Multichannel Eye Movement Integration” introduced this remarkable technique to us in 2021, but is now used across the globe. MEMI is the result of years of development and research combining EYE Movement Integration, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, NLP, and other approaches, to achieve a safe, non-invasive, non-triggering approach to Trauma therapy.
MEMI is an NLP-based eye movement procedure modeled on Steve and Connirae Andreas’ Eye Movement Integration technique developed in 1989. Unlike EMDR and other eye movement techniques, MEMI is sensory-based. Without the need for deep hypnosis, MEMI resolves even the most difficult problem states in just one or two sessions.

Drake Eastburn
Drake Eastburn is a board-certified hypnotherapist, author, and co-founder of Eastburn Hypnotherapy Center and the Eastburn Institute of Hypnosis. With more than 40 years of experience, he is one of today’s most prolific authors in the field, having written eight books on hypnosis, several of which are used in training programs worldwide.
Widely recognized for his expertise in sport hypnotherapy, Drake serves as the official hypnotist to the U.S. Olympic Cycling Team and has worked with athletes ranging from school-age competitors to world champions. His work with national cycling champion Timmy Duggan, supporting him through recovery from a traumatic brain injury, stands as one of many examples of his profound impact. Drake focuses on the psychological side of sports, helping athletes consistently access “the zone” for peak performance.
In addition to his thriving global private practice, Drake teaches both foundational and advanced hypnosis courses through the Eastburn Institute, training students worldwide to become Certified Hypnotherapists and offering continuing education for practitioners wishing to specialize or expand their practice.
