Alan Sands is one of North America’s most accomplished comedy stage hypnotists, magicians, and live entertainment professionals. For more than four decades, he has built a career captivating audiences with a unique blend of comedy, hypnosis, magic, and audience engagement while performing thousands of live shows across the United States and around the world.
Born into a family of professional entertainers, Alan was literally raised in show business. He first stepped onto a stage at just three years old, assisting his father, renowned magician and inventor George Sands. By age six, he was performing for audiences, and by seventeen he was working professionally while developing the stage presence and audience rapport that would become his trademark.
After receiving his clinical hypnosis training in 1997 and becoming a Certified Stage Hypnotist in 1998, Alan quickly established himself as one of the industry’s premier performers. His career includes performances at more than 250 state and county fairs, hundreds of colleges, casinos, cruise ships, theaters, comedy clubs, amusement parks, conventions, corporate events, festivals, and more than 400 high school graduation celebrations.
In addition to his performing career, Alan is the founder of Alan Sands Entertainment, a successful talent agency representing top specialty entertainers throughout North America. He is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of hypnotists, helping aspiring performers develop the skills, confidence, and business knowledge needed to build successful careers.
